Up the Road from Nowhere was released in 2023 and introduces the inner workings of the mind of “a millenial that’s growing up”. Code has experienced loss, trauma, redemption, joy and victory along with a whole lot of struggle and grind. His love for humanity and strong sense of social justice drive the narratives on protest anthems “Call to Action” and the title track “Up the Road from Nowhere”. Party energy comes through at times but doesn’t drown out the heady conscious vibes as Code reckons with identity, belonging, and ultimate meaning in a world gone mad.
